Spacious one-bedroom apartment with great natural light and a clean living space. Pleasant sitting area ideal for unwinding after a day out.
The bedroom felt a bit dim and the noise from street parties on Saturday night was unbearable. On a second night, I switched to a higher apartment, but the disturbances outside were still too loud.

The apartment was spacious and beautifully designed, making our stay comfortable. We loved how close it was to major attractions like the National Museum of Art of Romania and the Romanian Athenaeum, all just a short walk away. we encountered some noise from nearby bars on Saturday night, which made it hard to sleep, but the staff were quick to offer us another room in a quieter area, which was really appreciated. a great choice for exploring the heart of Bucharest.

beautifully renovated old building, large rooms with high ceilings, clean and well-maintained facilities
Very loud music from nearby bars can be heard all day and into the early morning!!! Better sound insulation is severely needed for the street-facing rooms!!! A microwave in the kitchen would also have been a useful addition!!!

The Matisse Bucharest Old Town apartments offer a fantastic location close to major attractions, just a 5-10 minute walk to the heart of the Old Town. The apartment itself was spacious and very clean, with comfortable bedding. The living area had a nice sitting space. There was significant noise from nearby bars that kept me awake on Saturday night. Earplugs helped, but I can see how this could be an issue for some guests. Despite these inconveniences, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it for its great rooms and excellent location.

Spacious and Conveniently Located
I stayed for 4 nights in a spacious one-bedroom apartment that was really well-equipped. The location was fantastic, just a minute away from all the action in the old town. While the noise on Saturday night was a bit much, it's expected in such a lively area. A microwave would have been a nice addition to the kitchen.
